Caroline and Patrick on the Easter Island (November 2003)

After two long travel days for Caroline Polet and Patrick Semal arrived in Easter Island on 26 November. But the welcome at the airport was worth the effort: they were given gorgeous flower garlands. They are staying at Hango Roa, the only village on the island.

On the next day, the 27th of November, the weather was bright: perfect for a first acquaintance with the famous giant statues named moai.

Excavations in Wyoming (July 2003)

Hello,

I am Thierry Smith, one of the palaeontologists of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences. In July I was in Wyoming (USA) with Etienne Steurbaut (RBINS), Christian Dupuis (Faculté Polytechnique de Mons) and Hugo De Potter (RBINS).
