The United Nations proclaimed 2010 as the International Year of Biological Diversity. This year will prove a true challenge for every single inhabitant of our planet, and we all have to face up to the urgency to end the loss of biological diversity in view of its essential role for the well-being of humans.

Within this framework, the Museum of Natural Sciences has planned a wide range of activities, including exhibitions, events and publications aimed at the wide audience and at scientists.
The scientists of the Institute pursue their on-the-ground research in the area of biological diversity.

By supporting the Museum in its scientific and pedagogical approach of this reflection, you reaffirm your values and your commitment alongside those who join forces and take action to protect biological diversity.
