The Antoine Wiertz Museum

In the same street as the Museum of Natural Sciences, you will find the Antoine Wiertz Museum, a unique place in Brussels, where time has stood still, and which has been associated with the Royal Fine Arts Museums since 1868. Antoine Wiertz was a key figure in Belgian Romanticism.

Guided city tours

Anyone who wants to get to know the city quickly and well can contact one of the many associations of guides. On foot, by bicycle, by bus, by horse and carriage, or by boat. There are so many possibilities for exploring Brussels with a guide who speaks your language. Of course, "gourmet" tours are definitely not to be missed. Gourmet Brussels

Brussel has a well-earned reputation as a city for gourmets. From top-class gastronomy to a simple little restaurant: you can dine well in any part of Brussels! You can find mussels with delicious Belgian chips on the menu in many restaurants. And did you know that there are 680 different kinds of Belgian beer? Try a delicious Brussels beer at one of the many Brussels cafés or bistrots. You’ll find many restaurants around the Museum : on the Jourdan Place, in Etterbeek, the Luxembourg Place or around the Saint-Boniface church in Ixelles.

The Brussels Card

With this card, Brussels will open its doors to you: you will have free admission to the permanent collections of almost thirty Brussels museums, and for three days, you will be able to use public transport free of charge. At over 20 typical Brussels attractions and shops, you will also receive 25% discount. A handy info booklet will help you find your way around the city. Three version : 24 H Brussels Card (20 €), 48 H Brussels Card (28 €) et 72 H Brussels Card (33 €).
