  • The survey Biodiversity in Belgium, a country study (2003) presents the status and trends of biodiversity in Belgium. It provides a detailed inventory on species and habitats and presents the major actors in biodiversity conservation. This publication of 416 pages is published in English. The table of contents and abstracts of the book are available on the official belgian CHM website(*).

  • The executive summary, Biodiversity in Belgium, an overview (2004) is published in French and Dutch. This version outlines the main conclusions of the survey in an attractive and illustrative 20-page brochure.   • Biodiversity in Belgium: vitally important (2007) is published in French and Dutch. It enters in length into the crucial role of biodiversity in our survival and well-being. This brochure explains clearly why it is vitally important to care about biodiversity, so it will continue to care about us and about life on earth.   • AMAI biodiversity: Belgiums natural treasures is an interactive digital instrument that illustrates the diversity of the Belgian fauna and flora through pictures and sounds brought together in an innovative way.   • Where can biodiversity be found? In cooperation with Bruno Tobback (Federal Ministre for the Environment) the national focal point focusses on biodiversity around the corner (*). These pages are only available in Dutch and French.

  • SOS invasions is a didactical tool on invasive alien species in Belgium. It is conceptualised as a fan, integrating games and information on biodiversity. The tool was developed by the National Focal Point and the Belgian Biodiversity Platform, with financial support of the Federal Environment Directorate General.   • The symposium proceedings Belgian Fauna: status and trends with a particular attention to alien species (2003) gathers scientific papers and abstracts of posters of a conference organised in December 2001.
