> Take advantage of your visit to discover Brussels

The events to mark 175 years of Belgium offer an ideal opportunity to explore Brussels. The wealth of different facets of our unique capital will always have something to surprise you.

The Antoine Wiertz Museum
In the same street as the Museum of Natural Sciences, you will find the Antoine Wiertz Museum, a unique place in Brussels, where time has stood still, and which has been associated with the Royal Fine Arts Museums since 1868. Antoine Wiertz was a key figure in Belgian Romanticism.

The European District
Breathe in the atmosphere of Brussels, the European capital, and visit (group visits only!) the European Parliament, popularly known as "The whim of the Gods".

Guided city tours
Anyone who wants to get to know the city quickly and well can contact one of the many associations of guides. On foot, by bicycle, by bus, by horse and carriage, or by boat. There are so many possibilities for exploring Brussels with a guide who speaks your language. Of course, “gourmet” tours are definitely not to be missed.

Gourmet Brussels
Brussel has a well-earned reputation as a city for gourmets. From top-class gastronomy to a simple little restaurant: you can dine well in any part of Brussels! You can find mussels with delicious Belgian chips on the menu in many restaurants. And did you know that there are 680 different kinds of Belgian beer? Try a delicious Brussels beer at one of the many Brussels cafés or bistrots.

The Brussels Card
For just 30 €, Brussels will open its doors to you: you will have free admission to the permanent collections of almost thirty Brussels museums, and for three days, you will be able to use public transport free of charge. At over 20 typical Brussels attractions and shops, you will also receive 25% discount. A handy info booklet will help you find your way around the city.
