  • From Tuesday to Friday from 09.30 to 17.00
  • Weekends and school holidays from 10.00 to 18.00
  • A specific number of visitors are accepted per time period.
  • Final admission to the exhibition one hour before the Museum closes.
  • On 24 and 31 December the Museum is open until 3 p.m.


> Closed on Mondays, 25 December, 1 January and 1 May.

Public transport is strongly recommended.

Individual visitors:

  • adults: 9 euro
  • students, senior citizens, Friends of the Institute: 8 euro
  • young people 6–17 years old,: 6.50

  • adults: 8 euro
  • young people (2-25 years old): 5 euro
  • people with a subsricption to the museum : 2 euro


Free for:

  • Children under 6 and accompanied by their family
  • Everybody, 1st Wednesday of every month starting from 1 p.m. (no booking required)

  • Teachers on presentation of proof of profession
  • Companions of disabled persons

Free admission to the Museum every first Wednesday of the month starting from 1 p.m.

The cafeteria offers various snacks. Information for groups on 02 627 42 22.

The store is open during the Museum opening hours.

Taking photographs and video films is allowed for personal use as long as this does not inconvenience other visitors. Taking photographs and video films for professional purposes has to be authorised by the press service on 02 627 41 21.
