Guidelines to follow during your visit

Fancy a day full of dinosaurs, with T. rex 'Trix', allosaurus 'Arkhane' and of course our Bernissart Iguanodons? Or are you eager to discover our gallery Living Planet and the Gallery of Humankind? Visit our museum halls in complete safety thanks to the measures we have taken. Preferably buy your tickets online* and show your Covid Safe Ticket at the entrance if you are 16 years or older!

The COVID SAFE TICKET mandatory from the age of 16

Following an ordinance of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, all visitors aged 16 and over will have to present, as of 15.10.2021, their Covid Safe Ticket (CST) or a rapid antigen test with a negative result, performed by medically schooled staff or a pharmacist (valid for the day of testing + 1 day). Persons who do not have either of these will not be allowed to enter the museum under any circumstances. The date of their visit can be postponed by sending a request to info@naturalsciences.be from Monday to Friday (excluding school holidays) or to visitors.services@naturalsciences.be during weekends and school holidays. NO REFUND ON SITE

Wearing a face mask when inside the museum is mandatory only for pupils aged 16 and over in school groups and for 12-15 year olds without CST (outside school visits).

Information on obtaining the necessary covid certificates can be found at https://covidsafe.be/en/#receive

A safe visit

The tickets (temporary exhibition included) are AVAILABLE ONLINE. We have put a capacity tracker in place in order to spread visits safely throughout the day. According to the measures of the COVID-19 crisis, access to the Museum is only possible during the time slot marked on your ticket, which you choose when booking online.

In order to respect the quotas, visitors benefiting from the free fares (see below) are required to take a free ticket via the online sales site.

We have placed hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the visiting route and our staff members are equipped with masks. The automatic lockers situated on either side of the cloakroom are available and are disinfected after each use. According to the decisions of the Consultation Committee, wearing a face mask (disposable breathing mask, fabric mask or scarf) when inside the Museum is mandatory only for pupils aged 16 and over in school groups and for 12-15 year olds without CST (outside school visits).
