Neandertals that lived near the Belgian caverns of Goyet were cannibals. Several bones show cut marks and percussion marks. It is the first evidence of Neandertal cannibalism in northern Europe.

Our Institute has welcomed a new dinosaur: a Plateosaurus. It measures about 6.5 metres in length and has lived 210 million years ago. Plateosaurus is one of the first great dinosaurs and one of the very first “long necks”.
