Are you passionate about biology, biodiversity, science? Are these themes central to your professional activity or do you want to integrate them more? Do you want to commit to biodiversity in Europe and increase your knowledge and skills in the field? Sign up for the BIOTALENT free online course!

This is a course for the development of knowledge, skills and competences of science educators, nature guides and anyone interested in biodiversity, in two parts: the general module Biodiversity in a changing climate : e-learn more (6 weeks, 20 learning hours, 3-4 hours weekly commitment), followed by a case study module on Herpetofauna or Medicinal Plants (6 weeks, 20 learning hours, 3-4 hours weekly commitment). Developed in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium, this e-learning course, in English, is free of charge. 20 selected participants will live 5 consecutive training days on the field in Crete.

The BIOTALENT Training Certificate, in compliance with ECVET, will be awarded to participants upon successful completion.

BIOTALENT is a blended e-learning course that aims to increase knowledge and skills on biodiversity, inspire to engage in conserving Europe’s biodiversity and ignite a passion for science.

  • Educators in science museums, botanical gardens, science centres and environmental organisations
  • Biologists, rangers and conservation managers at nature reserves, national parks and civil organisations
  • Anyone with an interest in biodiversity
