38 million specimens in our collections. A staff of scientists and non-scientists exceeding 400 employees. Over 350,000 visitors in 2019, including 50,000 participants in our educational and cultural activities.
The Institute is world-renowned for its research and its collections, both those on display at the Museum and those in our preservation rooms. Scientists from the world over come to visit us or wish to collaborate in our research. Our Museum has one of the largest dinosaur halls - the biggest in Europe -, and definitely the most impressive number of iguanodons shown to the public. Every school day, hundreds of children visit the Museum and participate in the workshops, tours or activities organized by the Educational Services.
Whether a private individual or a corporate entity, you can support the Institute and the Museum to continue being on top of the latest scientific research and offering the highest quality visitors experience.
