The Belgian Geological Survey has published a series of geological maps of the western coastal plain, an area where the subsoil is characterised by frequent lateral and vertical changes in lithology.
Nine geological maps (1:25,000 scale map) have been published during the sixties and seventies. These digital maps are available as raster files for MapInfo and ArcView softwares.
