Alejandra has been working as a Hydrogeologist at the RBINS - Geological Survey of Belgium since 2021. Alejandra is part of the GeoEnergy research team, where she contributes to the development and application of techno-economic methods for the assessment of sustainable subsurface solutions for the energy transition. Her projects also involve the integration of geological solutions in full-chain assessments for providing decision support under uncertainty.

Alejandra has expertise in geo-techno-economic assessments of Carbon Capture transport and Storage (CCS) value chains, the application of the United Nations Framework for resource Classification (UNFC) to critical raw materials and injection projects, and GIS mapping.
