ENGIE - Scientific patronage at the service of knowledge about wild bird migration

The ENGIE Foundation

Created in 1992, the ENGIE Corporate Foundation aims to translate the ENGIE Group's commitment into solidarity actions. In line with the Group's business responses to social and environmental challenges, the Foundation supports innovative philanthropic projects that contribute to building a more harmonious future.

Its work is particularly focused on contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Emergency aid for populations affected by disasters, aid for children and education, biodiversity and access to energy, and the fight against poverty and integration: the Foundation's four main priorities respond to one requirement: to take care of life and our planet and meet the needs of vulnerable or remote populations.

Every year, it supports more than a hundred projects around the world. With 50% of its projects dedicated to access to renewable and sustainable energy and biodiversity in 2023, the ENGIE Foundation is committed to the environment year after year.

Supporting impactful projects, participating in the collective effort of Agenda 2030 and promoting ENGIE's raison d'être: this is what guides the ENGIE Foundation's actions on a daily basis.
