Once again this year, the Institute of Natural Sciences opens its doors for the  Brusselsmuseums' Nocturnes. We are expecting you on Thursday 9 April from 6pm onwards!  Visit our wondrous exhibits and discover an array of exciting activities curated exclusively for this evening.

Programme :

EXPO FLIGHT

The exhibition FLIGHT reveals how animals and humans achieve to defy the clouds. From hummingbird to drone, peregrine falcon to the Concorde: a fascinating journey into the heart of flight, where nature meets technology. FLIGHT unravels the mystery of flight in a stunning panorama of fossils, naturalized birds, and model airplanes.

GUIDED TOUR 

Step inside our museum: thousands of specimens, interactive displays and modern scenography’s immerse you in the heart of nature. Learn about the history of life on our planet and its incredible diversity, and of course, visit the largest dinosaur gallery in Europe with spectacular skeletons, including unique and authentic specimens!

BEHIND THE SCENES Discover a world of nature and science with the guide in the rest of the buildings. Walk along several unique repositories with hundreds of specimens and discover how the scientists study them. During your tour, also get to know the beautiful architecture of the Institute’s buildings.
